3-D Papercrafting Class

Here are some cards that I made for a 3-D Papercrafting class that I am going to be teaching at Jo-Ann's.  They have the design and directions and I follow them so it's simple.  Some of the directions seemed to be missing on one card so I had to improvise and do my best.  Oh well.  It still came out pretty well.

This one I made from a cardstock pack called Linen Closet.  They have some glitter papers and they are pretty but I am not used to working with them.  They are a lot thicker than CTMH papers.  This flower in this first card I made by using Fiskars XL Scalloped Heart Punch.  I punched 8 hearts and folded them in order to make the flower.

Here is the 2nd card I made and my favorite of all of them.  This paper is from the Linen Closet Stack also.  It could be used for graduation, wedding or anniversary.  This flower was also made from a punch from Fiskars.

Here is the last card that I used a different paper stack for called Pocket of Posies.  It's a really cute stack of paper.

Kitty

We have about 12 stray cats that hang around our farm.  Once in awhile they like to take a look and see what we are doing in the scrap room.  Sometimes we have 5 looking in and other times there are only one or two.  Here is one of the cats that my 7 year old named Black Eye...sorry its kind of hazy...it was really snowing outside.

Candy Bar Wrappers

Here is the favor that I made for the Baby Shower guests. I wanted something simple but yet something that would be useful..who doesn't love chocolate!

Diaper Cake

I made this Diaper Cake for a friend for a baby shower I am throwing for her. I wasn't quite sure how it was going to turn out. I think that it turned out very well. Now just to get it to the shower in one piece!

Hi! I know I haven't posted anything for awhile. I am hoping in the next few days I will get to create some cards from my new Wishes book!! I just can't decide what to make first!! If you don't have this book yet I would try to get one as soon as possible! Jeanette sure outdid herself on this one. My 5 year old daughter also had her tonsils and adnoids out so I have been a little busy being a mom/nurse/etc.! She has been a real trooper and seems to be coming along pretty good. We are hoping that she will be able to make her dance recital this weekend but its not looking too good. She is too afraid to eat anything so she gets tired out pretty fast. I have been trying to tempt her with yogurt, ice cream, noodles and slushies but she just shakes her head "no". She says that nothing tastes good. If you have any ideas I would sure love to hear them! Well I should be posting some cards this week/weekend. I have to get some batteries for my camera first. Have a great rest of the week!
