December Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Mad About You

Welcome to December's Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  Thanks for stopping by!

This month there are over 56 Close to my Heart Consultants participating and happy to show you there wonderful artwork featuring the Mad About You Stamp of the Month.

I really liked this stamp set once I started playing with it.  You could sure use for more than just Valentine's.  I could see it being used on a girls' page.

If you have come here from Melinda's Blog then you are on the right track!  If not that's ok, this blog hop makes a full circle so you will be able to see all the artwork!

Here is what the stamp set looks like:

Here is what I made using this stamp set:  A card box

Here are the Materials that I used:
CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge
Mad About You Stamp of the Month
Desert Sand & Smoothie Ink
Roxie Paper
Kraft Cardstock
Opaques- Mocha
Misc. Pewter brads and 3-d Foam tape

Here is how I made this cute little Treat box:
I cut the 3d Heart box at 8".  I did Font layer, Shift, Heart 1, Cut
Circle for "You're Sweet": Circle 4 cut at 2"
Outside circle cut in Roxie Paper at 2" - Layer, Circle 4, Cut
Hearts - Shift, Heart 1, cut these were cut at 1"

I did cut the box from Kraft CS first and then cut the Roxie.  I thought this would make it a little sturdier.  If you cut it out just plain CS and then decorate it you would probably be ok with out the extra layer.

The handle I used the top of the Roxie paper and then cut another 1/2" strip from the Roxie paper and glued together so that it covered the Paper Pack information.

You could probably cut these a little smaller if you were doing Valentine treats for your child's class.  I cut mine large enough so that you could see it well for this hop.

Here are the cards that I made to go with this Card Holder:
The above card : Pattern: Middle Ground in Wishes pg. 19
Roxie Paper Pack
Cocoa Cardstock
White Hemp
3 D foam tape
Mocha - Opaques
Cardbase: Kraft CS
Above Card: Pattern: Layered Look pg. 19 in Wishes Card Confidence Program

Above Card: Mini Combination pg 84 from Wishes Card Confidence Program

Recipe/Card Box

Here is a recipe box from Close to my Heart that I made with Sophia paper pack.  I am not quite sure if I liked how this turned out.  I thought that it would be adorable but I seemed to have lost my steam as I was putting it together and my creativity flew out the window.  So I am going to post this anyway and maybe when the creative spirit comes back to me I will redo it and re-post it.

November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome and thanks for joining us for the November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

We will be featuring "A Little Thanks" stamp set.

We have over 60 Close to my Heart Consultants sharing their creations this month using this month's stamp of the month and other great CTMH products.

This hop is simple to do just click on the link at the end of the post to move to the next blog.

If you have come from Dawn's blog then you are on the right path.  If not that is ok this blog hop will make a full circle.

If a link is broken go to Helen's Blog to continue your journey.  There is a listing of all the hop participants on her blog.

Here we go!

I made this little notebook for my daughter.  She loves to write and since this just had a plain brown front I thought it would be nice to decorate it a little.  I used Magnifique peacock B&T paper, I used the opposite side (tan) for the Circles.  The hearts are the Dimensional Elements, I used cocoa ribbon and cocoa ink to stamp with.  I used my cocoa marker to make the stitching around the circles.

Now hop on over to Melissa's Blog to see her artwork and to continue with the hop.

9x9 Accordian Album using Amore Paper Pack

This Accordian Album was made at a Crop in my spare where I was a vendor. My Sister in Law Tracy helped me with most of it. I think that it turned out beautifully. I was going to give it away for a Mother's Day gift but am finding it hard to part with. This is the front Cover:

Altered Small Notebooks

These small notebooks I found at a dollar store. I have a craft show coming up in October at our local mall and thought that these would be perfect to sell. I still have a few more to alter. The first one is done with the Silhouette paper and some of our flowers. I thought that it turned out pretty well. This next one is using the Enchantment paper pack. I think that it needs something but am not sure what. Any ideas would be appreciated. This one I used the Sarsparilla paper pack and the Lovely Buckles stamp set. I thought that it turned out pretty good. Sorry the picture didn't turn out as well. I think this needs something too but not sure what. This last one is my favorite. I used the Everlasting Paper and the Snow Friends stamp set.
