April Stamp of the Month - You Are

Welcome, to the April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  Grab a cup of coffee, sit back and relax and enjoy the artwork of over 40 talented Close to my Heart consultants.

If you have come here from Wanda's Blog then you are on the right track.  If not that is ok, as this hop makes a complete circle!

This is a pretty fun stamp set.  I wanted to do a scrapbook layout of my daughter's softball pictures but couldn't seem to find the pictures that I wanted.  So I made the card below.  I wanted to make something simple and versatile.  I think that I could use this card for many different occasions.

Here is what the stamp set looks like:

Here is what I made using this stamp set:
Here are the materials that I used:
Wishes Card Confidence book, Pattern was Simple Statement on pg. 11
You Are, April Stamp of the Month Stamp set
Pemberley Paper Packet
Desert Sand and Outdoor denim inks and cardstock
Bamboo Cardstock
Designer Brads
Cricut AP Cartridge

For this card I inked the Pemberley B&T paper with desert sand ink.  On the Desert Sand cardstock I first used my edge distresser and then inked the edges in Desert Sand.  For the flower I sponged the edges before I rolled it to give it a worn look.  The Outdoor Denim CS I also edge distressed and sanded it to give it a more mellow appearance.

If you have to have this stamp set visit my website today to get your Stamp of the Month for only $5 with a $50 purchase!!

Now hop on over to Mary's Blog to see what she has created!

Happy Hoppin' and thanks for stoppin'!
