December Stamp of the Month - Amore

Welcome to the December Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!

We are so glad that you could join us!  Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the artwork from over 60 Close to my Heart Consultants!

If you have come here from Susan's Blog then you are on the right track...if you are just starting here that is ok too...as this blog hop makes a full circle!

We will be featuring the Amore' stamp set.

This hop is pretty simple to do..at the end of each post is a link to the next blog hop participant.

If a link is broken just go to Helen's Blog where she has a full listing available.

Ok, here we go!

I made this Amore' card to give to my hubby!  He has been so helpful lately with the kids and everything else that I thought that I would show him how much I appreciate all he has done.
Here is what I did:
For the White Daisy Organdy Ribbon I took a Sponge Dauber and held the ribbon down on my ink pad as I slid the ribbon through. This created the ribbon to be Pacific Blue to match my card. For the hearts I used Sky ink and then rolled in the Pacifica in order to get the tinged edges. I used my daubers to distress the colonial white piece with the Amore' stamped on it. I used the Glitz Glitter Gel on the certain points in the hearts. I thought that it turned out pretty well. The only thing is to make sure the Ribbon is completely dry before you try tying it onto your card or your fingers will get pretty messy. I let mine dry for about 1/2 hour.

Here is what I used!
Pattern: Orignials Card Confidence Program - Puzzle Background pg. 91
Paper: Magnifique Paper Pack, Pacifica Cardstock, Chocolate Cardstock & Colonial White Cardstock
Ink:  Z2192 Pacifica, Z2194 Sky, Z2111 Chocolate
Embellishments:  White Daisy Organdy Ribbon, Z1313 Glitz Glitter Gel, Z1333 Mocha Opaques
